2025 – Year Of Re-alignment, Accountability In The US

Not since Franklin Roosevelt’s crushing victory over President Herbert Hoover in 1932 and the eager anticipation of his New Deal policies to lift America out of its depression woes, has such anticipation heralded the inauguration of a new occupant of the White House – Donald Trump.

The dramatic realignment of the US political landscape which has reduced the Democrat Party to the left coast, the north east coastal states and the interior holdouts of Minnesota, Illinois, Colorado and New Mexico, has also flipped the political compasses of some of Trump’s most hostile opponents.

Pilgrimages to Trump HQ at Mar a Largo have been made by media moguls Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. Also by Silicon Valley CEOs, like Tim Cook of Apple. Of equal significance have been the contacts by foreign leaders, notably, Trudeau of Canada and their willingness, notably that of Putin, to seek mutually beneficial outcomes with Trump.

The realignment is also apparent in sections of the media. Patrick Soon Shiong, owner of the Los Angeles Times, has compelled its editorial board to restructure so that it reflects a fair balance of opinions. He says that financially the Times can no longer afford to be “an echo chamber” of leftist narrative.

Conservative television broadcaster Newsmax.com now enjoys viewership greater than CNN and MSNBC. As a result, it has raised $145 million and is about to go public on the NYSE. Trump’s Truth Social is booming and has $660 million in the bank. The Voice of America radio has a new conservative voice with former Arizona television host and veteran Trump ally, Kari Lake, taking charge.

Political gain precedes Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President. Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman has denounced the lawfare of his party against Trump as “B-S” and has registered on Trump’s Truth Social. Already Trump’s top team includes former Democrats RF Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard and Elon Musk.

Democrat NYC mayor Eric Adams has done a 180 degree turn and now is keen to assist Trump and new Border Czar, Tom Homan, in removing and deporting illegals. Democrat Washington DC mayor Muriel Bowser, has had “a great meeting” with Trump and is eager to clean up the city. Four years ago she rejected his offer of 10,000 National Guardsmen to prevent violence on January 6, 2021.

Accountability is already on the radar. Five states – Utah, Texas, Mississippi, Kansas and Louisiana – are suing Pfizer for knowingly concealing the threat its COVID vax poses to heart health, pregnancy and to life itself.  The House Oversight Committee has produced a 520-page report on the origin of COVID and the cover-up by Dr Fauci of its contents.

A San Francisco court has awarded $7.8 million to six employees who were dismissed by the local transport board for refusing to be vaxxed. The court found that their 1st amendment rights were violated and that the company failed to present any scientific evidence justifying its vax mandate.

However, the real thrust of accountability will come from the newly created Department of Government Efficiency headed by Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy  who have pledged to cut $1 trillion from the federal budget and to reconnect government with the interests of the people – not the elites.
