Besides the significance of the 250th anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence, there are developments afoot which, in terms of the Overton Window, indicate that 2026 is going to upend certain narratives.

Prominent among the issues is the ongoing effort of President Trump to achieve a peaceful settlement in Ukraine. Clashing with his efforts are the countermeasures of the EU. By its grant of €100 billion to Zelensky to continue the war, it is clear the EU does not want peace. Actually, more to the point, the EU is doing its best to promote a conflagration in the region which will evolve into a world war, just as the Balkan crisis of 1914 led to World War One.

This is evident by its latest attempt to goad Russia into widening the conflict by threatening to seize its frozen foreign assets, a move which the EU’s puppet, Zelensky, endorses as ‘payment’ for Russia’s ‘war crimes.’ Another hostile card the EU is considering to play in order to sabotage Trump’s peace efforts is to dump $2 trillion in US debt, thereby enfeebling Trump’s political clout and his ability to reset geopolitics.

The key to the EU’s intention of igniting a European-wide war, which it hopes would have global ramifications, is to project Russia as the bogeyman posing a “dire threat” to Europe. Ukraine, which is a major money-laundering hub of the globalists and a transit base for human trafficking and nefarious activities regarding bio-weapons, provides a suitable fuse to achieve the EU’s intentions.

War is the only means the EU and its globalist World Economic Forum comrades have of stopping Trump’s defeat of their intended subversion of national sovereignties and democratic choice so as to preside over totalitarian, Orwellian hemispheres. Thus, the EU’s narrative, loyally disseminated by its kept mass media, falsely paints Putin as an ogre to be toppled while depicting Trump as Putin’s comrade.

On Pearl Harbour remembrance day, December 7, that narrative was appropriately shattered by two developments. In Moscow, Putin announced that he supported Trump’s peace initiatives, and in Washington, Trump released a major national security document. By reasserting the 1823 Monroe Doctrine as the cornerstone of US policy, Trump rejected globalist geopolitics, thereby emphasizing America’s sovereignty.

As those in power in Britain, France, Germany, Canada and Australia increasingly stifle freedom of speech in an attempt to safeguard the intentions of globalist hegemony, thanks to the example of the Trump Administration and Elon Musk’s X platform, the Overton Window is opening. Mainstream narratives are losing traction. Public resistance is becoming militant. Truth is changing perceptions. In Europe, increasingly people are awakening to the fact that their politicians in the grip of the EU are the enemy, not Russia.

2026 will be a watershed year if millions test positive for national sovereignty, if they recognize the various guises of tyranny and distance themselves from narratives based on falsehood.

The subversion and destruction of national sovereignty and constitutional order by means of mass immigration and the criminalizing of free speech is the primary objective of globalism. While it is on full display in most of the Western world, its progress in New Zealand is hardly known.

Since it would expose globalist intentions, the Maorification of New Zealand is not a topic aired by the mass media. But it is exposed in detail by the New Zealand Centre for Political Research, headed by Dr Muriel Newman and on the Te Parti Maori Party website.

Although the Maoris constitute only 20% of the population, since 1990, a process from within the state sector has been incrementally elevating Maori ideology and influence. Through the Office of Maori-Crown Relations, Matauranga Maori (Maori ways of knowing) has acquired suasion in health, education, law and all public policy.

The ideological groundwork of Matauranga Maori was laid in the 1970s by two activists, Donna Huata and Ripeka Evans. They visited Cuba to learn revolutionary means by which Aotearoa (New Zealand) can be transformed into a Maori nation state.

Matauranga Māori now enjoys equal partnership and inclusion in Western curricula across a wide spectrum. From that platform, Maori activists have challenged and reformed minds, demonising resistance and opposition as racism. Despite the Maori history of tribal warfare, slavery and cannibalism, their narrative is premised on grievance and victimhood attributed to colonial oppression.

The website of Te Pati Maori in Parliament is unambiguous in its vision. Citing the 1840 resolution of “our tupana”, it declares: “We will force the Crown to return our land…. All land sales to foreign interests to be replaced by leasehold only…. All official names will be in Maori.”

The extent of what is effectively state capture is reflected in references to Maori culture in all facets of New Zealand life – sport, culture, school, university, the mass media, the private sector and all state institutions and agencies. Just as B-BBEE is unconstitutionally a tool of racial discrimination, so in New Zealand, beneficial preference is prioritised for Maori interests wherever feasible in what might be called MMEE –Meliorating Maori Economic Empowerment.

As has occurred in Gauteng with the expropriation of a 34-hectare property (406 of the Farm Driefontein) without compensation, state land is being transferred to private Maori tribal corporations in quiet fulfilment of the aim of Aotearoa being repossessed by Maori.

Race-based victimhood serves as an easy tool whereby the Orwellian globalists subvert nations and install puppet governments leashed to their narratives. In New Zealand, the goal of Maorification is endorsed by the Labour and Green Parties. In South Africa, globalism’s allies are all those who misguidedly endorse the servitude of the Freedom Charter.

Whereas white minority rule of South Africa was bitterly opposed as racist, ironically, that is not the case in New Zealand, where racist minority Maori rule is the globalists’ objective. While historically that may seem inconsistent, what needs to be appreciated is that democracy has no place in globalism’s dystopia, where all power is the sole preserve of a ruthless oligarchy.

It is interesting how negative speculation about the effect a Trump presidency would have on South Africa’s trade with the US has suddenly given way to cautious optimism (Business Report, November 11).

Fears that Trump’s tariff-premised trade policy would alienate South Africa and other African states stem from how he pursued matters during his first presidency. But global circumstances are now markedly different with respect to the power blocs that have emerged and the threat of war.

What is not emphasised by the opinion-imposing mass media is that apart from righting matters in the US, Trump’s mission is to blunt the WEF globalists’ Orwellian subversion of nation-states and their subservience to a totalitarian oligarchy.

In that respect, Trump’s trade policy is not aimed at driving countries into the arms of the Orwellian WEF but at shrinking their deceitful influence. In South Africa’s case, it could mean nudging us away from BRICS which, as Professor Michael Walsh states, would have implications with our relations with China, Iran and Russia. A further corollary would then concern attitudes to Israel and Taiwan.

Within 72 hours of Trump’s landslide victory, its implications were apparent:

An upward surge in the US stock market;

The latest migrant caravan headed for the US disbanded in Mexico;

Qatar agreed to evict Hamas leaders;

Hamas now wants to end the war;

The Taliban seeks a new US relationship;

The EU wants to buy US gas, not Russian gas.

China says it wants peaceful co-existence.

Trump’s return to the White House portends a wave of implications worldwide which should be welcomed by all who cherish peace, national sovereignty, liberty and free speech and who strive to live in a God-fearing world.

AMERICA: A REPUBLIC

The Founding Fathers did not call it a democracy, but a republic. They saw a pure democracy as leading to unchecked populism, where the interests of minorities would be ignored or marginalised,

To demonstrate that concern, the populous state of California has a far greater influence in the House of Representatives than any other state. Of the 435 representatives, California has 51 whereas Wyoming, a thinly populated state, has only a single representative in the House.

In order to provide some balance to the likelihood that a few states would dominate the national interest, the Founding Fathers established the Senate. Each state, regardless of its size and population, has two Senators.

Thus, the Senate diffuses power and refines democracy.

While democratic practice is enshrined in the constitution, the diffusion and refinement of that power distinguishes America from being a pure democracy. That distinction is what makes America a republic.

LIBERALISM AND THE LEFT

To a large extent, the distortion of political realities and understanding is due to the misappropriation attached to the term ‘liberal.’

Liberalism has lost its identity because as a reference it has been appropriated by the Left. The association of liberalism with tolerance has been exploited by the Left to the extent that tolerance is no longer bound by the core principles of liberalism – merit and liberty, individual rights and the rule of law. Unbounded tolerance leads to anarchy and revolution – the instruments of the Left.

DEI – diversity, equity and inclusion, the strategy of the Left to upend and transform societies, runs counter to the philosophy of liberalism. Yet so-called liberals have succumbed to it.

Liberalism embraces free enterprise capitalism and opposes socialism. But thanks to the vast influence of the Left in academia and the mass media, liberal institutions have been overwhelmed by the socialism of the Left.

Liberalism champions integration. But increasingly the Left champions group identity, which translates into the segregation of races—Black Lives Matter, critical race theory, the 1619 Project. By attempting to hew to the ideal of merit, regardless of race, liberals find themselves labelled as racists by the Left.

Liberals uphold national sovereignty and oppose open borders but the Left divides the world in terms of class, the ‘class struggle’ being a core aspect of Marxism. Nationalism is anathema to the globalists of the Left, whose policy of open borders is intended to dismantle national homogeneity and replace it with Orwellian hemisphere zones.

Liberals uphold Western civilisation. But the Left scorns that as a euphemism for white supremacy.

In that liberalism has become synonymous with the Left and has lost its identity, it finds itself in a psychotic state. That situation is illustrated by the decision of lifelong, liberal loyalist and Democrat, Robert F Kennedy, to associate himself politically with the Republican Party and Donald Trump.

RFK recognises that despite the Left’s disparagement of Trump’s Maga movement, it endorses many of the principles the liberal Democratic Party used to uphold but which have been lost by its submergence in the politics of the Left.
