Contrary to the narrative manufactured by scientists and academics in thrall to the globalism of the World Economic Forum, climate change is a natural phenomenon that scientists and historians of integrity have proved is as old as the Earth itself. They have also noted that weather and temperature patterns are influenced by the variable elliptical path of the Earth around the sun and variations in the tilt of the earth. In short, human activities involving fossil fuels have no effect on climate change.

Thus, the decarbonisation process with its reams of regulations and bureaucratic oversight is completely unnecessary because the Green Deal is a giant scam. Those that have bought into it, like the ANC government, stand to profit through the procurement of wind turbines and solar panels and the increased cost of electricity. There is nothing just about the so-called Just Transition to green energy sources, just greater debt from overseas borrowing and dramatically increased living costs, as green-compliant Germany is experiencing.

There is nothing “insidious” about being exposed to carbon-intensive activities, as the green alarmists falsely proclaim. On the contrary, carbon emissions per million need to double in the interests of a greener environment and a better food supply.

Instead of making alarmist, unenlightened statements about climate change having a negative effect on financial stability, Kganyago should gleefully be rubbing his hands at the rosy financial impact the gas and oil exploitation off the west coast will have on our ailing economy. That is where he should be directing investment, just as Trump is doing in America. “Drill, baby, Drill!” is the narrative of common sense attested to by history.

Dr Lehohla’s condemnation of the official embrace of renewables is premised on an incontrovertible reality: the economically illogical abandonment of the country’s ‘black gold’—coal—in exchange for expensive, imported so-called renewables.

Expanding on that, Lehohla points out that the costs of the so-called just energy transition (JET)  are what is driving up Eskom’s new, unaffordable tariff charges. In that regard, he dismisses as a false narrative Eskom’s claim that load shedding was mitigated by the generation of 6,000 megawatts by renewables.

Indeed, the entire JET exercise is based not only on false science but on utterly disingenuous economics, which is why Dr Lehohla brands JET as a “Trojan horse that will further damage our energy security.”

It is deliberate, educated ignorance to premise decarbonisation and its corollary, de-industrialisation, on the falsehood of human-driven global warming. But unfortunately, the Orwellian agendas of global power elites which have captured all but a few political leaders like Donald Trump and Javier Milei of Argentina, prevail in South Africa.

A superb example of the Trojan horse direction of which Dr Lehohla warns features in the Business Report of October 15. Deceitfully, the report claims the newly formed Investment Forum will “unlock funding for renewable energy.”

The key word in that is “lock” because its meaning is ambivalent. For the investors, it promises an unlocked cascade of financial returns from its captive client, South Africa. But for South Africans, it means being locked into ever-higher electricity costs and state indebtedness to global controllers.

The projection that annual investment in renewable capacity will have to triple every year until 2030 to reach the false, unscientific target of staving off a 1,5° C temperature increase, makes it clear that financial enslavement to an oligarchy is what the future holds.

This direction is more than an exercise in stupidity, as Dr Lehohla states. It is brazen betrayal and treason. The absolutely unaffordable 36% tariff increase that Eskom is demanding is largely the result of JET madness and carbon tax.

The effect of a 36%  tariff hike is going to result in terminal impoverishment as the prices of everything will become unaffordable for all except the elites and the politicians. Unless the GNU wakes up to the JET Trojan horse, whatever else it may achieve will be worthless.

Despite the historical and scientific fact that manmade emissions have nothing to do with climate change, thanks to the herding abilities of the mass media, bought scientists and the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) agenda of depopulation and Orwellian order, it is shameful that pursuit of the policy called the Just Energy Transition (JET) by President Ramaphosa (Business Report, July 16) is not challenged by some of the GNU members.

An enlightening decision by the GNU would be to abolish the Presidential Commission on Climate Change. It is simply a lackey of the globalists and their insidious agenda to transform countries like South Africa into vassals of their Great Re-Set agenda through insurmountable debt.

It has been estimated that to adhere to the requirements of JET, it would cost in excess of R6 trillion. With ‘loans’ from the stooge governments aligned with the WEF, that target can be attained. Thus, we see Ramaphosa hawking the begging bowl, urging countries to honour their pledges, which, if forthcoming, will hobble South Africa’s sovereignty and ensure obeisance to an agenda of permanent debt and servitude to the globalists, which was not what people voted for on May 29.

With the petroleum and gas bonanza that awaits exploitation off our West Coast, it is mindless stupidity to pursue policies of decarbonisation. Those undersea assets constitute more than a future of energy independence and prosperity. They represent a lifeline to evade the clutches of vassalage to the WEF.

Decarbonisation is a totally unattainable objective since carbon is an innate part of life. Scientific research shows that the presence of carbon in the atmosphere was as high as 2000 parts per million a million years ago, whereas it is currently around only 430 parts per million. As scientists like Dr. Steven Koonin, formerly undersecretary for science in the Obama Administration, say, the planet needs to increase its carbon footprint so as to benefit nature and population sustainability.

The climate change agenda has nothing to do with saving the planet. It’s an excuse to destroy the economy and transfer wealth into the hands of fewer and fewer people. The desperation of those driving that agenda was illustrated on July 13. Donald Trump is the mortal enemy of the WEF and its adherents because he recognises the evil of their agenda and proved that when he withdrew the US from the Paris Climate Accords in 2018. His return to the White House promises to upend the decarbonisation hoax.

GNU members should sober up to the realities of what decarbonisation means and stand firm against the hoax that it is.

Thanks to unprecedented levels of control, falsehoods have become the enshrined narrative driven by a small elite which has succeeded in encompassing its command over the mass media, science, academia, technology, finance, and mainstream political parties.

Already, South Africa is a failed state after 30 years of the application of an ideology that has a history of failure – communism. And the promoters of this ideology are not done yet. Still to come is the national democratic revolution when, in true USSR fashion, the country becomes a one-party state, in line with WEF Commissar Klaus Schwab’s openly expressed Orwellian vision at Davos in January.

The other falsehood that is guaranteed to transform South Africa into an impoverished state is decarbonisation. At a time unique in history when the means to access knowledge and to achieve understanding is unprecedented, a totalitarian elite has imposed the narrative of decarbonisation on science. As the deputy head of UN Global Communications, Melissa Fleming has arrogantly stated: “We own the science.” The corollary of that, of course, is that the elite also owns the political heads of state.

Thus, as the front page of Business Report (February 28) informs us, the Office of the Presidency has committed the country to the first tranche of debt in the name of the lie regarding climate change: R1,5 trillion. Euphemistically couched in the name of Just Energy Transition, decarbonisation is to be applied and replaced by green energy from hydrogen, solar, and wind.  Accompanying this fairy tale is the insistence that “sustainable employment” will be provided for “vulnerable communities.”

It does not require a science degree to realise the manifold negative effects of decarbonisation. Life as we know it from plastic products to transportation and lubrication, would be set back to a time before the industrial revolution. What the promoters of this diabolical narrative wittingly omit to mention is that without the use of fossil fuels, mass food production and distribution cannot be sustained thereby resulting in famine and starvation.

One way to challenge the decarbonisation disaster is to demand that the political party seeking one’s vote is opposed to the falsehood of decarbonisation.
