A request to compile some details in preparation for the 75^th anniversary of the church’s Sunday School turned into a project to research the history of this important Christian sanctuary of Durban’s Bluff suburb.

The result was a 140-page account of its growth and development based largely on surviving minutes of meetings, interviews with old-timers and email submissions from former members living overseas. Whilst this book would be of interest primarily to Baptists, its contextualisation within the evolving 70 year period may have a wider appeal.

Sales of this book will be credited directly to Fynnland Baptist Church which, in any case, is the sole stockholder of the book.
